2019 DLMM Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations Kristalynn Proctor and Krysta Miller!
Kristalynn Proctor is a student at Summit Country Day School, where is she excels academically. Her hard work has earned her membership into the National Honor Society. Kristalynn is also very active outside of the classroom. She is the current manager and former player on the volleyball team, a cheerleader, and is a member of the school’s Diversity and Inclusion club. Miss. Proctor attends People’s Church where is gives back to the community as a regular volunteer at the church’s thrift store.
The running themes throughout Miss. Proctor’s letters of recommendation speak to her leadership skills, her vibrant and always positive personality, as well as her willingness to help others. They also detail her ability to persevere in the face of a difficult situation.
Miss. Proctor plans to study psychology.
Krysta Miller is a student at Colerain High School. Academically, Miss. Miller has taken some of the most challenging classes the school had to offers and managed to maintain a superior level of academic excellence. She is a very ambitious and charismatic student that never passes up on an opportunity to grow or enhance her skills. In addition to her academic achievements, Miss. Miller also dedicates her time severing her community. She gives back through her work with Ronald McDonald House, Gabriel’s Place, Triple Creek nursing home, Adult daycare, and ASCEND (collection for homeless shelter and food drive).
Miss. Miller will major in Chemical Engineering and minor in business
